Webmail on iOS

STEP ONE

Connect your CAC reader to your IPhone or IPad. If your IOS device  has a lightning port you will need to buy an adapter like the one I am holding In the photo. Then you can connect your USB CAC reader Into the adapter.

If you have a newer IOS device that has a USB-C port, then you can simply plug In your USB-C CAC reader. However, If your CAC reader is a traditional USB, you will need to buy a similar adapter for your USB-C device. I have provided links below for these adapters.

STEP TWO

Wait for your IOS device to update the software for your CAC reader and adapter.

STEP THREE

Go to https://webmail.apps.mil/ for AIR FORCE and ARMY. 

Some ARMY members may need to go to https://web.mail.mil

STEP FOUR

Click on "Sign In with CAC/PIV"

STEP FIVE

Click on your name. It will appear where mine Is blurred out.

STEP SIX

Type In your 6 digit pin

STEP SEVEN

Start checking your email. Here Is how It will look on your IPad.

I have an older IPad that has a lighting port, so this Is how my setup looked. 

TIPS:

Works a lot better on Safari. I had Issues with Chrome on the IPad.
