The ILZ AVD capability is intended for use by those who have active DAF365 Entra ID accounts within the following domains:

Innovation Landing Zone (ILZ) Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Sonic Boom Install Instructions
This will guide you through first time AVD Login Issues on Windows OS.
1. Ensure you have downloaded the correct Remote Desktop Client installer for your device:
• Windows 64-bit (most common).
• Windows Store Azure Virtual Desktop Preview (Windows 11S users only)
2. Launch the Windows Remote Desktop client.
3. Click “Subscribe”.
4. If needed, you can use “Subscribe with URL” using the following address: https://rdweb.wvd.azure.us/api/arm/feeddiscovery
5. Enter your Air Force credentials.
6. Double click on “SessionDesktop” under "USAF Azure Virtual Desktop(General)" to launch AVD.
7. If prompted, re-enter your Air Force credentials.
8. The first time you login, you may be prompted to allow access to the AVD host. If prompted, click Yes to allow this permission.
This will guide you through first time AVD Login Issues on macOS.
1. Ensure you have downloaded the latest client for
macOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/windows-app/id1295203466?mt=12
2. Launch the Microsoft Windows App Beta Remote Desktop client.
3. Choose whether to share data with Microsoft.
4. Allow use of your camera and microphone. These are needed for Teams
meetings in AVD.
5. At the top of the client, select Workspaces.
6. Add a workplace with the URL: https://rdweb.wvd.azure.us/api/arm/feeddiscovery
7. Enter your Air Force credentials.
8. Double click on “SessionDesktop” to launch AVD.
9. If prompted, re-enter your Air Force credentials.
10. The first time you login to a host, you may be prompted to allow access to the machine. If prompted, click “Yes” to allow this permission.
This will guide you through the steps to access AVD via Browser.
1. Open your browser to https://rdweb.wvd.azure.us/arm/webclient/
2. Sign in with your Air Force credentials.
3. Double click on “SessionDesktop” to launch AVD.
4. If prompted, re-enter your Air Force credentials.
5. A prompt for access to local resources may be displayed asking you to confirm which local resources you want to be available in this remote session. Make your selection, then click “Allow”.
MAC USERS
Sonic Boom Is very finicky about the type of CAC reader you use. One of the most compatible CAC readers for Sonic Boom Is Identiv SCR3310v2.0. Any recent CAC reader from Identiv should work.
